- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce (for dipping sauce)
- 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Sesame oil (for dipping sauce)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic, minced (for dipping sauce)
- 1 teaspoon Ginger, minced (for dipping sauce)
Instructions
- Prepare the beef: Start by slicing the beef sirloin into thin strips. Aim for uniform pieces to ensure even cooking.
- Mix the marinade: In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, gochujang, and black pepper. Whisk everything together until well mixed.
- Marinate the beef: Toss the sliced beef in the marinade until coated. Let it sit for about 10 minutes.
- Heat the pan: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the beef: Add the marinated beef to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Prepare the dipping sauce: In another bowl, mix the gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger until combined.
- Serve: Plate the beef and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve the dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
Do not skip the marinating time for the best flavor. Adjust the spice level by varying the amount of gochujang.
