Instructions

  1. Wash and prep all ingredients. Start by rinsing your fresh spinach leaves and strawberries under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.
  2. Place fresh spinach in a large bowl. Grab a large mixing bowl and add the spinach as your base.
  3. Hull and slice strawberries. Remove the green tops from the strawberries and slice them into thin pieces. Add them to the bowl along with the spinach.
  4. Add thinly sliced red onion. Slice the red onion as thinly as possible and toss them in with the strawberries and spinach.
  5. Crumble feta cheese over the salad. Crumble the feta cheese on top for that creamy and tangy touch.
  6. Toast pecans or walnuts. In a skillet over medium heat, toast your chosen nuts until they are golden brown and fragrant. Sprinkle them over the salad.
  7. Drizzle balsamic vinaigrette just before serving. Add a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette and toss everything gently to combine.
