- 1 cup of pitted dates
- 1 cup of walnuts or pecans
- 1/4 cup of cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: shredded coconut or cocoa powder for rolling
Instructions
- Grab your food processor and combine the pitted dates, walnuts or pecans, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Pulse everything together until the mixture is well combined and becomes sticky.
- Scoop out small amounts of the mixture. Roll them gently in your hands to create balls about one inch in diameter.
- If you want to dress them up a bit, roll the balls in shredded coconut or extra cocoa powder.
- Enjoy your Date Brownie Balls immediately or store them in the refrigerator for later!
Notes
For a nut-free version, substitute nuts with sunflower seeds. Use Medjool dates for the best sweetness.
