Description
A quick and satisfying Tuna Melt Wrap that combines classic flavors with the convenience of a wrap, perfect for lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can of tuna, drained
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon diced onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 wrap or tortilla
- 1 slice of cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- Lettuce or spinach (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the drained tuna with mayonnaise, mustard, diced onions, salt, and pepper until everything is well combined.
- Lay the wrap or tortilla flat on a clean surface. If you’re using lettuce or spinach, place it in the center of the wrap.
- Spoon the tuna mixture over the greens, spreading it evenly across the surface.
- Top the mixture with a slice of cheese, letting it settle nicely on the tuna.
- Roll the wrap tightly. Make sure to tuck in the edges to keep everything inside.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the wrap seam-side down in the skillet.
- Cook the wrap for 2-3 minutes on each side, until it turns golden brown and the cheese melts beautifully.
- Slice the wrap in half, and serve hot.
Notes
For added flavor, garnish with fresh herbs or a squeeze of lemon juice. Serve with salad or chips for a complete meal.
