Soft, chewy cookies filled with festive M&M’s, perfect for celebrating Valentine’s Day.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup M&M’s (preferably Valentine’s themed)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the M&M’s and chocolate chips (if using).
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft.
- Remove from the oven and let cool on baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or freeze for up to three months.
