Delicious chocolate cookies with a festive touch, combining the crunch of Oreo cookies and colorful Valentine’s Day M&M’s.

- 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup Valentine’s Day M&M’s
- 7 Oreo cookies (roughly chopped, regular stuffed, NOT DOUBLE STUFFED)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a Silpat mat.
- Cream together the slightly softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a medium bowl.
- Add the vanilla extract and egg to the mixture, mixing until smooth and well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients (flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt) to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined.
- Fold in the Valentine’s Day M&M’s and chopped Oreo pieces until evenly distributed.
- Using a large cookie scoop, scoop out the dough to form 10 equal cookies.
- Place the cookie dough on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes.
- To make the cookies perfectly round, gently swirl them with a larger cookie cutter when they come out of the oven.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a cooling rack.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
