Description
A comforting one-pan dish featuring beef, cheese tortellini, and marinara sauce, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 oz cheese tortellini
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil (for cooking)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). While it heats up, heat a splash of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Season it with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the beef browns, breaking it apart with your spatula as it cooks.
- Stir in the marinara sauce and let it come to a gentle simmer, allowing the flavors to meld together for a few minutes.
- Toss in the cheese tortellini and mix everything until well combined and heated through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Pour the cheesy mixture into a baking dish, spreading it out evenly for even cooking.
- Generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top, creating that coveted cheesy crust.
- Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve hot with fresh basil or olive oil. Pairs well with a green salad or garlic bread.
