Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 packet instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Oil for frying
- Kinder Bueno bars, chopped (for filling)
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla in another bowl.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients until you get a smooth dough, then knead it for a few minutes.
- Cover the bowl with a kitchen towel and let it rise for about 60 minutes, until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into circles. Let the circles rise again for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat, and fry the donuts until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side.
- Allow the donuts to cool slightly on a wire rack and then fill them with chopped Kinder Bueno bars and dust with powdered sugar.
Notes
Do not rush the rising process for the best texture. Use fresh yeast for optimal results.
