- 2 cups Fresh broccoli florets
- 1 can Canned chickpeas, drained
- 3 Fresh garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds
- 2 cups White rice, cooked
Instructions
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
- Drain the canned chickpeas and set them aside.
- Mince the garlic cloves.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Add the drained chickpeas and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the mixture and toss to coat, cooking for one more minute.
- Serve hot over cooked white rice and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Notes
For added texture, you can sprinkle extra sesame seeds on top before serving. Experiment with different vegetables for variety.
